But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gage Chee couldn't finish the play. Ryan Lee hit a great ball. haha United's Morten Agersten was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 29th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 33 minutes, Morten Agersten made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Clementi Team's Muhammad Koh tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36th minute, Albert Vijiaratnam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Jamal Hopker managed to get in a good position for a shot. haha United's supporters rose to their feet, but Jamal Hopker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Muhammad Koh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Clementi Team's zone, Morten Agersten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Muhammad Koh came out of the goal and Morten Agersten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the match, haha United's Huey Llewellyn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Muhammad Koh narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Morten Agersten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Farhan Seng to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes Clementi Team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jamal Hopker who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Jamal Hopker got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Muhammad Koh quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Morten Agersten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muhammad Koh having to interfere. Azam Lim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Muhammad Koh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Morten Agersten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muhammad Koh having to interfere. Jeff Shearer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Muhammad Koh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zak Sissons's late challenge caught a Clementi Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zak Sissons helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, haha United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zak Sissons to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute Morten Agersten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Muhammad Koh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Clementi Team booed when haha United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Huey Llewellyn didn't get a good kick on the ball. The haha United fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when haha United's Morten Agersten looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Farhan Seng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that haha United were the better team. haha United's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
