Felix Politiek might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tan Peng. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Politiek ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 47th minute, Felix Politiek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Hafriz Yip made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Clementi Team's Farhan Seng sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tan Peng narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gage Vijiaratnam during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Tan Peng as he didn't even see the shot coming. Hafriz Yip fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muhammad Koh having to interfere.
