Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rifqi Sum took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Exmouth's goalkeeper Zack Chew, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Dale Ramachandran fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Exmouth's protests and gave Dale Ramachandran a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th match minute, Exmouth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dale Ramachandran to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Politiek hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Ostwaken City's Afiq Yip got control of the ball when Lee Tan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Afiq Yip showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amir Hoe, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. A collision led to Exmouth getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Wei Xuan Tan hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Exmouth's zone, Ronn Rajah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zack Chew came out of the goal and Ronn Rajah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Afiq Yip made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Lee Tan sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Ostwaken City defense, Lee Tan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Afiq Yip. The Ostwaken City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Afiq Yip should have stopped the shot. Rifqi Sum recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Darren Ching kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Exmouth's Darren Ching got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Daniel Sarangapani took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zack Chew. Exmouth's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 36th minute Rifqi Sum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zack Chew saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Ostwaken City's goal looked a bit too open when Amir Hoe came free, but Afiq Yip reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lee Tan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Exmouth's goalkeeper Zack Chew, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Exmouth's Lee Tan got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The wind increased when Amir Hoe made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Ostwaken City's goal looked a bit too open when Amir Hoe came free, but Afiq Yip reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronn Rajah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zack Chew having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albert Hian during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67thth minute of the game Lee Tan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ostwaken City's Afiq Yip was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Afiq Yip made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amir Hoe in the 68th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Albert Hian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Exmouth fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Lee Tan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afiq Yip having to interfere. After 79 played minutes, Exmouth's Faizal Yi-Sheng shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Afiq Yip came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Exmouth reached it. Amir Hoe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Lee Tan came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Exmouth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lee Tan couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute, Amir Hoe made a precise shot to the right of Afiq Yip. Ostwaken City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. When the referee ended the match the Exmouth players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
