Shahiran Hsi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danial Swee in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Houghton Regis's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Ee came free, but Shahiran Hsi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danial Swee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shahiran Hsi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danial Swee in the 33rd minute of the match. Afiz Choy hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Houghton Regis's goal looked a bit too open when Danial Swee came free, but Shahiran Hsi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 minutes of play, Haslingden's Felix Ee made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Shahiran Hsi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Danial Swee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felix Ee made a kick off. If Farhan Soon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danial Swee blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Shahiran Hsi having to make a save. An unexpected shot in the 64th minute by Muhammad Mathews got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 67th minute, Muhammad Mathews made a precise shot to the right of Shahiran Hsi. Houghton Regis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Shahiran Hsi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Ee, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute.
