Spectators: 6790 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1790, VIP seats: 0) RFA Clubbo's Alan Lum started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Albert Low ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mujahid Hsin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 8th minute Alan Lum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steven Nair saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute, Victor Chew hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute Albert Low shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mujahid Hsin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Firdauz Hsin in the 17th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Padstow AFC's Danial Pillai. Padstow AFC's Steven Nair played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Lum in the 20th minute of play. Albert Low received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Mujahid Hsin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Padstow AFC's Joel Sim got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 30 played minutes Padstow AFC got a freekick which was hit by Joel Sim. Alan Lum's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Steven Nair read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. After 39 played minutes Padstow AFC got a freekick which was hit by Khai Nair. In the 41st minute of the match Firdauz Hsin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Steven Nair showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albert Low stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Joel Sim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Steven Nair came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by RFA Clubbo's Alan Lum. But to his dismay, Alan Lum quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The supporters of RFA Clubbo booed when Padstow AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sarb Wenyong didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mujahid Hsin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albert Low in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Padstow AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Faiz Pillai came free, but Steven Nair reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Padstow AFC's Alan Seng got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 80th minute of the match Firdauz Hsin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Steven Nair skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 84 minutes, Albert Low managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Padstow AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albert Low was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Albert Low blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mujahid Hsin having to make a save. With a little luck, RFA Clubbo's Mujahid Hsin got control of the ball when Albert Low tried to sneak it across the goal line. Padstow AFC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
