The audience thought a goal was coming when Rifqi Siang got free with Prime Chien-Kwan in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 23 minutes into the match, Muhammad Nagasaki dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Prime Chien-Kwan, 2-0. Prime Chien-Kwan came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Runcorn's Faiz Wenyong. But to his dismay, Faiz Wenyong quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 66th minute, Rifqi Siang ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Prime Chien-Kwan was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. If Rifqi Siang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Runcorn getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Khai Pillai hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Great Staughton United defense, Faiz Wenyong kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Prime Chien-Kwan. The Great Staughton United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Prime Chien-Kwan should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rifqi Siang in the 87th minute of play forced Great Staughton United's goalkeeper Prime Chien-Kwan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Faiz Swee during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Runcorn booed when Great Staughton United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faiz Swee didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Runcorn had played much better football throughout.
