Seating: 1814, VIP seats: 157) Great Staughton United's Lee Namasivayam started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Runcorn's zone, Darryl Tuan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mark Siong came out of the goal and Darryl Tuan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Prime Chien-Kwan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gara Shyan, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Afiz Sim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Prime Chien-Kwan made a huge save. Khai Pillai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Prime Chien-Kwan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Khai Pillai scored 1-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Prime Chien-Kwan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rifqi Siang got free with Prime Chien-Kwan in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 23 minutes into the match, Muhammad Nagasaki dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Prime Chien-Kwan, 2-0. Prime Chien-Kwan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gara Shyan, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 54th minute, Faiz Swee ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mark Siong was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. After a rather tough play, Great Staughton United's Faiz Swee got a free kick in the 59th minute. Prime Chien-Kwan came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Runcorn's Faiz Wenyong. But to his dismay, Faiz Wenyong quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 66th minute, Rifqi Siang ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Prime Chien-Kwan was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. If Rifqi Siang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Runcorn getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Khai Pillai hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Great Staughton United defense, Faiz Wenyong kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Prime Chien-Kwan. The Great Staughton United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Prime Chien-Kwan should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rifqi Siang in the 87th minute of play forced Great Staughton United's goalkeeper Prime Chien-Kwan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Khai Pillai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Faiz Swee during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Runcorn booed when Great Staughton United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faiz Swee didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Runcorn had played much better football throughout.
