Shahron Hsi came out of the goal and Ong Chuan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ali Soon to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Ong Chuan notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Englefield Green's Shahron Hsi. Shahron Hsi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Merlin Ning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shahron Hsi having to interfere. In the 64th minute there was a penalty for Stourbridge AFC. Iskandar Tan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Shahron Hsi. 3-0. Ong Chuan struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Shahron Hsi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stourbridge AFC. Shahron Hsi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khai Dhanabalan in the 70th minute of play. Shahron Hsi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ong Chuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. One of Englefield Green:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Stourbridge AFC:s goal. In the 91st minute there was a penalty for Stourbridge AFC. Iskandar Tan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Shahron Hsi. 4-1. In the 96th match minute, Stourbridge AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerard Lim to maneuver through the defense.
