Holton-le-Clay's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Muhammad Tee scored to the left of an out of position Rifki Tan, making the score, 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Codicote's Marian Yosifov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Codicote from getting a goal against them.
