The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sean Singh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th match minute, Bramhall was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danish Seah to maneuver through the defense. Nicholas Ee was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Wong Dryburgh. Ron Nagasaki hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Wei Xuan Chuan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Chan, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute Merlin Laycock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicholas Ee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 minutes, Felix Chan made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ashton-under-Lyne's Wei Xuan Chuan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Felix Chan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bramhall's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Chan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wei Xuan Chuan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Chan in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wei Xuan Chuan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A nice corner shot did that Mujahid Butcher got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wei Xuan Chuan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Bramhall fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Bramhall's Felix Chan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Felix Chan sped through Ashton-under-Lyne's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wei Xuan Chuan. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Merlin Laycock to make the kick off. If Felix Chan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the match, Ron Nagasaki notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Bramhall's Nicholas Ee. Nicholas Ee was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A hard shot 63 in the game by Felix Chan from a close distance when the talented Wei Xuan Chuan managed to make a qualified save. Ashton-under-Lyne's players were relieved. Ron Nagasaki kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Felix Chan put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Wei Xuan Chuan. Felix Chan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wei Xuan Chuan having to interfere. Wei Xuan Chuan had great luck who in the 75thth minute grab hold of the ball when Felix Chan from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Bramhall's Khairul Lim got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felix Chan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Wei Xuan Chuan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 79th minute Khairul Lim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wei Xuan Chuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Ashton-under-Lyne's goalkeeper Wei Xuan Chuan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Chan. After 84 minutes, Khai Soon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ashton-under-Lyne and the Bramhall players grew even worse after the yellow card. 90 minutes into the match, Ashton-under-Lyne's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Chan came free, but Wei Xuan Chuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wei Xuan Chuan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Chan's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. The Ashton-under-Lyne fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bramhall were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
