Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Didi Dyce made the kick off which started today's match. A collision led to Wincanton getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Adam Shiong hit a great ball. Jonathan Ramachandran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Azly Yi-Sheng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Shyan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Danial Kang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jithu Phua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 13 in the game by Arif Hsi from a close distance when the talented Azly Yi-Sheng managed to make a qualified save. Wincanton's players were relieved. Wincanton's Azly Yi-Sheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Hsi in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of Shirebrook AFC booed when Wincanton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Azli Tioe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Didi Dyce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Azly Yi-Sheng made a huge save. Wei Xuan Rajah made in the 24th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Danial Ee. 25 minutes into the game, Wincanton's Shafiq Hongyi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Danial Kang made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 28th minute Jonathan Shyan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danial Kang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 29 minutes, Arif Hsi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shirebrook AFC and the Wincanton players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Shirebrook AFC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Arif Hsi hit a great ball. Danial Kang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faizal Abdul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Danial Ee ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Azly Yi-Sheng was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Wincanton's zone, Danial Ee stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Azly Yi-Sheng came out of the goal and Danial Ee tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Danial Ee scored 3-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Azly Yi-Sheng, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonathan Ramachandran got free with Azly Yi-Sheng in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Faizal Abdul stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Shafiq Hongyi charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shafiq Hongyi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Shafiq Hongyi kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Azli Tioe kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Azly Yi-Sheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Hsi in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute Arif Hsi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Azly Yi-Sheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Faizal Abdul kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Danial Kang. That made the score 3-2 in the 61 minute of play. Wincanton's Shafiq Hongyi got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Shirebrook AFC's Danial Kang proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Shirebrook AFC from getting a goal against them. Wincanton's Azly Yi-Sheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Didi Dyce in the 72nd minute of play. Azly Yi-Sheng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arif Hsi in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute Didi Dyce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Azly Yi-Sheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Didi Dyce cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Azly Yi-Sheng was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Shirebrook AFC's Wei Xuan Rajah got a free kick in the 84th minute. Azly Yi-Sheng came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Shirebrook AFC's Arif Hsi. But to his dismay, Arif Hsi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Jonathan Ramachandran might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Azly Yi-Sheng. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonathan Ramachandran ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Shirebrook AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Wincanton had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
