Shahron Sarangapani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wei Xuan Chian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hafriz Butcher in the 16th minute of the match. Shahron Sarangapani charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shahron Sarangapani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Oxted's Shahron Sarangapani got a free kick in the 19th minute. Wei Xuan Chian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hafriz Butcher in the 21st minute of play. Zak Phua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seth Webb having to interfere. Danish Pillai kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Wei Xuan Chian made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Hidayat Choo sent off a good shot on target. 28 minutes into the match, Oxted's goalkeeper Wei Xuan Chian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bryan Pieng. With a little luck, Oxted's Wei Xuan Chian got control of the ball when Hidayat Choo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oxted's Wei Xuan Chian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Oxted from getting a goal against them. Bryan Pieng who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Wei Xuan Chian when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

The supporters of NivekstersFC booed when Oxted was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asiz Hian didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the game, Steven Hong was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oxted's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NivekstersFC the free kick. After some careless play in the NivekstersFC defense, Azly Henderson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Seth Webb. The NivekstersFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Seth Webb should have stopped the shot. In the 61st match minute, Oxted was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fariz Hui to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Asiz Hian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wei Xuan Chian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryan Pieng in the 66th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, NivekstersFC's goal looked a bit too open when Shahron Sarangapani came free, but Seth Webb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Azly Henderson in the 70th minute of play forced NivekstersFC's goalkeeper Seth Webb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, one of NivekstersFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for NivekstersFC. After a rather tough play, NivekstersFC's 邱克常 got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute, 邱克常 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Azly Henderson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Seth Webb made a huge save. If Hidayat Choo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Oxted's Azly Henderson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Seth Webb. That made the score 1-4 after 83 minutes of play. Fariz Hui hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the game, Shafiq Politiek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oxted's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NivekstersFC the free kick. The NivekstersFC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Oxted to win.
