Spectators: 6794 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1794, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hidayat Ching got the match started through his kick off. When the match clock showed 2 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Iskandar Chuan sped through Manchester United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Dhanabalan. Jonathan Dhanabalan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iskandar Chuan's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. After a rather tough play, Manchester United's Hidayat Ching got a free kick in the 12th minute. Manchester United's Jonathan Dhanabalan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Manchester United from getting a goal against them. 18 minutes into the match, Manchester United's Hidayat Ching sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Faizal Swee narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 20 minutes, Darren Phua managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darren Phua was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Hidayat Ching had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Glastonbury's goal looked a bit too open when Hidayat Ching came free, but Faizal Swee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hidayat Ching received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Faizal Swee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Glastonbury's Iskandar Chuan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Dhanabalan. Jonathan Dhanabalan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 34th match minute, Glastonbury was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lee Swee to maneuver through the defense. If Hidayat Ching had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Glastonbury's goalkeeper Faizal Swee, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Glastonbury's Faizal Swee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hidayat Ching in the 44th minute of play. If Darren Phua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When Steven Ning fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manchester United's protests and gave Steven Ning a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st match minute, Manchester United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steven Ning to maneuver through the defense. Iskandar Chuan took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Dhanabalan. Jonathan Dhanabalan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After 55 minutes, Ong Vijiaratnam mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glastonbury and the Manchester United players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Manchester United booed when Glastonbury was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ong Vijiaratnam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Darren Phua could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Faizal Swee however easily saved by the left post. 59 minutes into the match, Glastonbury's goal looked a bit too open when Hidayat Ching came free, but Faizal Swee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alan Hsin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Faizal Swee having to make a save. Faizal Swee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hidayat Ching, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Khairul Tan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Faizal Swee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Darren Phua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faizal Swee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hidayat Ching in the 75th minute of play. When Darren Phua came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Manchester United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darren Phua couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute Hidayat Ching shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faizal Swee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Glastonbury's goalkeeper Faizal Swee had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Darren Phua. With a little luck, Glastonbury's Faizal Swee got control of the ball when Darren Phua tried to sneak it across the goal line. Darren Phua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hidayat Ching might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Faizal Swee. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hidayat Ching ran back to his position shaking his head. 96 minutes into the game, Hidayat Ching cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Faizal Swee was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Many of Manchester United's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Manchester United may have spent more time on the ball, but Glastonbury were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
