An unexpectedly hard shot by Jithu Dhanabalan in the 3rd minute of play forced Milton Warriors's goalkeeper Jorge Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lamar Butcher made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Khai Teo sent off a good shot on target. After 10 minutes of play, Milton Warriors's Azam Hee made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lamar Butcher was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Khai Teo in the 12th minute of play forced Liskeard AFC's goalkeeper Lamar Butcher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lamar Butcher made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Khai Teo sent off a good shot on target. 2-0 became the score in the 16th minute when Khai Teo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Khai Teo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lamar Butcher having to interfere. After 24th play minutes Khai Teo shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Lamar Butcher and just under the crossbar into goal. When Wei Xuan Sum came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Liskeard AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wei Xuan Sum couldn't finish the play. Khai Teo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Lamar Butcher skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Azam Hee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Liskeard AFC's Lamar Butcher proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Liskeard AFC from getting a goal against them.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jithu Dhanabalan made a kick off. Lamar Butcher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khai Teo in the 52nd minute of play. In the 57th minute, Khai Teo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 61st minute Leon Celio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lamar Butcher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Leon Celio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Lamar Butcher was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Khai Teo put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lamar Butcher. Khai Teo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lamar Butcher having to interfere. Lamar Butcher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Keng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leon Celio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lamar Butcher having to interfere. Wei Xuan Sum's late challenge caught a Milton Warriors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wei Xuan Sum helped the player get up and apologised. Wei Xuan Sum kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Milton Warriors's Khai Teo got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Liskeard AFC defense, Jonathan Keng kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lamar Butcher. The Liskeard AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lamar Butcher should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Liskeard AFC's zone, Leon Celio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lamar Butcher came out of the goal and Leon Celio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Khai Teo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Lamar Butcher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Milton Warriors's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
