Spectators: 7749 (Terracing: 5813, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 154) Shah Peng started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shah Peng in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sarb Phua saved Ramsey City from getting behind. Ong Wah was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Arif Ching capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arif Ching really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 26th match minute, Ramsey City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lee Choo to maneuver through the defense. Sarb Phua didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Afriz Sum went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Wong Pieng hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. If Afriz Sum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sarb Phua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shah Peng in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, one of Ramsey City:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Rifqi Liang was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 49th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arif Ching made a kick off. If Shah Peng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute Shah Peng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sarb Phua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Azam Chong hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Sarb Phua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shah Peng, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aziz Politiek during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 76th minute, Aziz Politiek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ong Wah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arif Ching, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ramsey City booed when Dunmow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dale Singh didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Afriz Sum managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dunmow's supporters rose to their feet, but Afriz Sum was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sarb Phua breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Afriz Sum's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Sarb Phua skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Azam Chong was shown his second yellow card after 91 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Azam Chong hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute, Dunmow's Shah Peng dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Sarb Phua made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dale Singh in the 96th minute. If Danish Ramachandran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Dunmow walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
