Spectators: 6797 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1797, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Darryl Tuan made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute Darryl Tuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hidayat Tian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dennis Sheene received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. SK Ching tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cliff Holbrook in the 5th minute of play forced Smallfield's goalkeeper SK Ching to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 7 played minutes Smallfield got a freekick which was hit by Darryl Tuan. With an all-out effort, Smallfield's Hidayat Tian threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Darryl Tuan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 21 minutes, Dennis Sheene made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Smallfield's SK Ching tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tan Tee kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Cliff Holbrook sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dennis Sheene recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SK Ching showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khai Yeo in the 34th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dennis Sheene in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg SK Ching saved Smallfield from getting behind. If Darryl Tuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Dennis Sheene had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Smallfield's zone, Dennis Sheene stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. SK Ching came out of the goal and Dennis Sheene tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mitamlanes FC's Jason Blakeley got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Khai Yeo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without SK Ching having to interfere. The Smallfield players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mitamlanes FC were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Dennis Sheene made the kick off in the second half. SK Ching took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cliff Holbrook, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Mitamlanes FC's Dennis Sheene slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of SK Ching. That made the score 1-3 after 54 minutes of play. 59 minutes into the game, Dennis Sheene cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. SK Ching was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mitamlanes FC's Dennis Sheene was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 62nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. With his leg SK Ching managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Mitamlanes FC's Dennis Sheene fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jason Blakeley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without SK Ching having to interfere. Dennis Sheene sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 75th minute, Cliff Holbrook reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of SK Ching. The goal made the score 1-6. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 1-7 when Dennis Sheene sped through Smallfield's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of SK Ching. Dennis Sheene sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dennis Sheene in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of SK Ching, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jason Blakeley received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. SK Ching came out and tried to block the shot, but Jason Blakeley slotted it home off the left post making it 1-9 in the 93rd minute. Mitamlanes FC played a much better game than Smallfield and deserved their victory. The Smallfield players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
