Aziz Ee kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Ash AFC's goal looked a bit too open when John Wah came free, but Bakar Chong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Ash AFC's goalkeeper Bakar Chong had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronn Chuan. Ronn Chuan was extremely unlucky when he, in the 24th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The crowd rose to their feet as Isle Of Dogs FC's Sajeev Chian slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bakar Chong. That made the score 1-0 after 29 minutes of play. Alan Pillai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronn Chuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Wah in the 37th minute of play forced Ash AFC's goalkeeper Bakar Chong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ash AFC's zone, Ronn Chuan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bakar Chong came out of the goal and Ronn Chuan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 55 minutes into the match, Sajeev Chian notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Ash AFC's Bakar Chong. Bakar Chong was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. John Wah might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bakar Chong. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. John Wah ran back to his position shaking his head. Sajeev Chian took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bakar Chong. Bakar Chong dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Ash AFC's zone, Sajeev Chian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bakar Chong came out of the goal and Sajeev Chian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th minute, Ronn Chuan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bakar Chong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tan Ramachandran in the 81st minute of play. John Wah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Bakar Chong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ronn Chuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute.
