An unexpectedly hard shot by Asiz Chan in the 9th minute of play forced Tenterden City's goalkeeper Danish Namasivayam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 12 minutes, Famih Teo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tenterden City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Famih Teo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute, Gerard Seng made a precise shot to the right of Danish Namasivayam. Tenterden City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Asiz Chan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Danish Namasivayam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, Tenterden City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wong Chan to maneuver through the defense. Wong Chan's late challenge caught a Gravesend FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wong Chan helped the player get up and apologised. Zack Abisheganaden placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After having played for 29 minutes, Asiz Chan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gravesend FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Asiz Chan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gerard Seng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerard Seng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Danish Namasivayam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerard Seng in the 36th minute of play. After 38 played minutes Gravesend FC got a freekick which was hit by Faris Pieng. After 39 played minutes Gravesend FC got a freekick which was hit by Faris Pieng. In the 40th minute of the match Aziz Lee shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joel Liang showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Iskandar Chew fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Liang having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Famih Teo to make the kick off. Asiz Chan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerard Seng might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Danish Namasivayam. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerard Seng ran back to his position shaking his head. Danish Namasivayam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerard Seng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Asiz Chan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danish Namasivayam having to interfere. Danish Namasivayam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerard Seng in the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd match minute, Gravesend FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Merlin Chong to maneuver through the defense. Joel Liang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Famih Teo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iskandar Chew's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Liang read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. A collision led to Gravesend FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Merlin Chong hit a great ball. Gerard Seng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danish Namasivayam having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of Tenterden City:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gravesend FC:s goal. Zack Abisheganaden shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After a rather tough play, Tenterden City's Gage Lum got a free kick in the 90th minute. Gerard Seng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Danish Namasivayam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Gravesend FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tenterden City.
