Jithu Choy yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Blackpool's Ali Teo got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonathan Devan to make the kick off. Amir Ee helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Oulton Broad booed when Blackpool was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shafiq Chien-Kwan came out of the goal and Jonathan Devan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a left leg Shafiq Chien-Kwan saved Oulton Broad from getting behind. Hamir Chai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shafiq Chien-Kwan having to interfere. Blackpool were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
