Whickham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afiz Kool was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Whickham's Sajeev Ning got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bakar Siang in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hidayat Ching prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 64 minutes of play, Whickham's Afriz Sarangapani made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hidayat Ching was left in no man's land by his defense there! A nice corner shot did that Zafran Vijiaratnam got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hidayat Ching quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Bakar Siang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the game, Whickham's Shahiran Sarangapani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hidayat Ching made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Hidayat Ching took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zafran Vijiaratnam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute Whickham were awarded a corner. Zafran Vijiaratnam went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Whickham's Zafran Vijiaratnam to fire away a dangerous shot which Hidayat Ching despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Hidayat Ching showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afriz Sarangapani in the 88th minute of the match. Bakar Siang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 97 minutes, Bakar Siang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
