Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Joel Yang started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Aziz Tioe charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aziz Tioe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aziz Tioe kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 6th minute Azam Hian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aziz Lim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aziz Lim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Azam Hian in the 11th minute of play. Aziz Lim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Yang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Joel Yang had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aziz Lim. Crystal Palace United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Yang was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A collision led to Crystal Palace United getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Sarb Ching hit a great ball. Dale Cheng took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aziz Lim. Crystal Palace United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Crystal Palace United's goal looked a bit too open when Azam Hian came free, but Aziz Lim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute of the match Ong Tan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aziz Lim showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Famih Nagasaki kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Joel Yang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aziz Lim having to interfere. After the first half Grasmere AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bryan Boon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After recieving a nice pass, Grasmere AFC's Dale Cheng tried to score from far away in the 52nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Aziz Lim came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Grasmere AFC's Azam Hian. But to his dismay, Azam Hian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Joel Yang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Grasmere AFC's Joel Yang ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aziz Lim. Aziz Lim yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Azam Hian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aziz Lim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Yang went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. 72 minutes into the match, Azam Hian notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Crystal Palace United's Aziz Lim. Aziz Lim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joel Yang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Crystal Palace United's Aziz Lim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Yang in the 89th minute of play. Aziz Lim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Yang, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Aziz Lim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Yang in the 95th minute of the match. The Crystal Palace United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Grasmere AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
