Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rifqi Ramachandran took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 7 played minutes Locksheath AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gerard Chan. In the 8th minute Afiq Phua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alif Paine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexander Ramachandran struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Rifki Seng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Locksheath AFC. When Wei Xuan Chian came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Bexhill on Sea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wei Xuan Chian couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute Rifqi Ramachandran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rifki Seng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Locksheath AFC booed when Bexhill on Sea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amir Butcher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ong Chai, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Rifki Seng stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rifqi Ramachandran's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Rifki Seng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rifqi Ramachandran in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rifqi Ramachandran in the 27th minute of play forced Bexhill on Sea's goalkeeper Rifki Seng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexander Ramachandran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 36 played minutes Bexhill on Sea got a freekick which was hit by Faizal Henderson. Alexander Ramachandran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rifki Seng having to interfere. Alif Paine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afiq Phua, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After a rather tough play, Locksheath AFC's Wei Xuan Tee got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Wei Xuan Chian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Alif Paine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Afiq Phua made a kick off. After 52 minutes, Wei Xuan Chian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bexhill on Sea and the Locksheath AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd match minute, Bexhill on Sea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wei Xuan Chian to maneuver through the defense. Rifki Seng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Ramachandran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alif Paine made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Wei Xuan Chian sent off a good shot on target. Rifki Seng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rifqi Ramachandran in the 61st minute of the match. After having played for 65 minutes, Alexander Ramachandran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Locksheath AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexander Ramachandran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Alif Paine successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Rifki Seng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rifqi Ramachandran in the 78th minute of the match. Wei Xuan Chian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexander Ramachandran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rifki Seng having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Locksheath AFC's zone, Afiq Phua stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alif Paine came out of the goal and Afiq Phua tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alexander Ramachandran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Rifki Seng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bexhill on Sea players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Locksheath AFC.
