Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amirul Pillai started the match with the kick off. Wei Xuan Chian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amir Butcher kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After 7 minutes, Hidayat Teo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bebington United and the Bexhill on Sea players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th minute, one of Bebington United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bebington United. Bebington United's Bakar Cheng suffered a sore thigh after 14 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alex Shyan during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th minute, Alex Shyan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wei Xuan Chian in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Farhan Tan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 21 minutes into the match, Bexhill on Sea's Wei Xuan Chian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Farhan Tan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Wei Xuan Chian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bebington United's goalkeeper Farhan Tan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 30 minutes, Wei Xuan Chian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bexhill on Sea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wei Xuan Chian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Wei Xuan Chian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bexhill on Sea's Afiq Phua got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Afiq Phua managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bexhill on Sea's supporters rose to their feet, but Afiq Phua was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Farhan Tan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 44 minutes into the match, Bebington United's goalkeeper Farhan Tan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wei Xuan Chian. Amirul Pillai hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Afiq Phua stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Afiq Phua got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Farhan Tan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Shyan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 62 played minutes Bexhill on Sea got a freekick which was hit by Wei Xuan Chian. Bebington United's Farhan Tan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wei Xuan Chian in the 64th minute of play. If Mujahid Kang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, Bebington United's goal looked a bit too open when Afiq Phua came free, but Farhan Tan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Bebington United's zone, Wei Xuan Chian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Farhan Tan came out of the goal and Wei Xuan Chian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Afiq Phua managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bexhill on Sea's supporters rose to their feet, but Afiq Phua was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Farhan Tan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sajeev Chian's late challenge caught a Bexhill on Sea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sajeev Chian helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th minute, Sajeev Chian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Bebington United booed when Bexhill on Sea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Shyan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, Alan Tan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Afiq Phua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Farhan Tan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wei Xuan Chian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afiq Phua in the 86th minute of play forced Bebington United's goalkeeper Farhan Tan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wei Xuan Chian in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Farhan Tan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 94 minutes into the match, Afiq Phua had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Farhan Tan. Bebington United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Afiq Phua was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When the referee ended the match the Bexhill on Sea players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
