The referee ignored Ingatestone's protests and gave Dan Rocastle a yellow card for diving instead. After 24 played minutes Ingatestone got a freekick which was hit by Dan Rocastle. The audience was convinced that Rifqi Ramachandran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeff Eastwood was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. A collision led to Locksheath AFC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ong Chai hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ingatestone's zone, Rifqi Ramachandran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeff Eastwood came out of the goal and Rifqi Ramachandran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute, Rifqi Ramachandran fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Rifqi Ramachandran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Jack Goldthorpe made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rifqi Ramachandran in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeff Eastwood saved Ingatestone from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Locksheath AFC's Muhammad Tuan got a free kick in the 57th minute. Alif Paine made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Alex Elliott sent off a good shot on target. Alexander Ramachandran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, Rifqi Ramachandran notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ingatestone's Jeff Eastwood. Jeff Eastwood was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Alexander Ramachandran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeff Eastwood came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Locksheath AFC's Rifqi Ramachandran. But to his dismay, Rifqi Ramachandran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When Alexander Ramachandran came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Locksheath AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexander Ramachandran couldn't finish the play. In the 87th match minute, Ingatestone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olly Carsley to maneuver through the defense. Ong Chai was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 88th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Rifqi Ramachandran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Locksheath AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rifqi Ramachandran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeff Eastwood breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 93 minutes into the match, Ingatestone's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Ramachandran came free, but Jeff Eastwood reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dan Rocastle hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Locksheath AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
