Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rifqi Ramachandran started the match with the kick off. Ronn Lim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexander Ramachandran in the 3rd minute. The supporters of Locksheath AFC booed when Rawtenstall FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Azly Tee didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronn Lim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexander Ramachandran in the 8th minute. Danial Lee hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the match, Rawtenstall FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rifqi Ramachandran came free, but Ronn Lim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Locksheath AFC's Alif Paine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Soon in the 15th minute of play. Alexander Ramachandran's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Ronn Lim skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rifqi Ramachandran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felix Soon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexander Ramachandran scored 1-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ronn Lim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ronn Lim came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Locksheath AFC's Alexander Ramachandran. But to his dismay, Alexander Ramachandran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Alexander Ramachandran in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ronn Lim, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 31 played minutes Locksheath AFC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Swee. If Danial Lee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wei Xuan Tee's late challenge caught a Rawtenstall FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wei Xuan Tee helped the player get up and apologised. Rifqi Ramachandran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronn Lim having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Wei Xuan Tee got his second yellow card in the match during the 53rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Alexander Ramachandran might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ronn Lim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alexander Ramachandran ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexander Ramachandran in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronn Lim saved Rawtenstall FC from getting behind. After 61st play minutes Alexander Ramachandran shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Ronn Lim and just under the crossbar into goal. If Felix Soon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Danial Lee might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alif Paine. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Danial Lee ran back to his position shaking his head. Alexander Ramachandran took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronn Lim. Ronn Lim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Ramachandran in the 72nd minute of play forced Rawtenstall FC's goalkeeper Ronn Lim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th match minute, Locksheath AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afriz Wenyong to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Felix Soon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alif Paine was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. If Felix Soon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Ramachandran in the 95th minute of play forced Rawtenstall FC's goalkeeper Ronn Lim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97thth minute of the game Rifqi Ramachandran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rawtenstall FC's Ronn Lim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Locksheath AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
