After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Nicholas Tee managed to get in a good position for a shot. Serangoon Lions's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicholas Tee was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haziq Boon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nicholas Tee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alam Abisheganaden in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haziq Boon saved Mighty Wolves United FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alam Abisheganaden in the 10th minute of play forced Mighty Wolves United FC's goalkeeper Haziq Boon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Nicholas Tee had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Haziq Boon. Mighty Wolves United FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicholas Tee was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Azli Cheng managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mighty Wolves United FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Azli Cheng was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hafriz Hock breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Serangoon Lions booed when Mighty Wolves United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerry Chandran didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27 played minutes Mighty Wolves United FC got a freekick which was hit by Prime Devan. In the 28th minute Alam Abisheganaden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haziq Boon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wei Xuan Low to make the kick off. Nicholas Tee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haziq Boon having to interfere. Gabriel Hoe's late challenge caught a Serangoon Lions's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabriel Hoe helped the player get up and apologised. Nicholas Tee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haziq Boon having to interfere. Faris Hoe hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Haziq Boon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alam Abisheganaden went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. If Alam Abisheganaden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alam Abisheganaden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Nicholas Tee took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Haziq Boon to make any attempt to save it.
