Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nicholas Teo kicked off to start the match. Ronn Dhanabalan charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronn Dhanabalan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After recieving a nice pass, Crawley's Wei Xuan Pillai tried to score from far away in the 9th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Nicholas Teo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aziz Teo kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Iskandar Ee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anil Shyan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Darryl Yi-Sheng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Iskandar Ee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anil Shyan struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Iskandar Ee didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Royal Gunners FC. Iskandar Ee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sarb Hongyi, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The corner led Royal Gunners FC's Shah Hsin to fire away a dangerous shot which Iskandar Ee despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anil Shyan in the 22nd minute of play forced Crawley's goalkeeper Iskandar Ee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Nicholas Teo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aziz Hsin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Royal Gunners FC's Anil Shyan, in the 32nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Royal Gunners FC. When Anil Shyan came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Royal Gunners FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anil Shyan couldn't finish the play. Iskandar Ee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anil Shyan, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute, Anil Shyan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Sarb Hongyi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iskandar Ee was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. In the 47th minute, Darryl Yi-Sheng got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anil Shyan to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anil Shyan in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iskandar Ee saved Crawley from getting behind. Sarb Hongyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iskandar Ee having to interfere. Anil Shyan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Iskandar Ee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Royal Gunners FC booed when Crawley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicholas Teo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anil Shyan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. After 77 played minutes Royal Gunners FC got a freekick which was hit by Wei Xuan Namasivayam. Aziz Hsin acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 79th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Wei Xuan Pillai. Anil Shyan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Iskandar Ee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Wei Xuan Namasivayam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iskandar Ee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Ronn Dhanabalan made a precise shot to the right of Iskandar Ee. Crawley's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Aziz Hsin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aziz Teo in the 90th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Royal Gunners FC had played much better football throughout.
