Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jithu Nair started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Alresford AFC's Jithu Liang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jithu Nair in the 3rd minute of play. Jithu Liang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bakar Chan in the 7th minute of play. Jithu Nair struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Jithu Liang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Woodlesford United. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Famih Pieng managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alresford AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Famih Pieng was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ong Low breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Woodlesford United's Jithu Nair got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jithu Liang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jithu Nair in the 26th minute of the match. The supporters of Woodlesford United booed when Alresford AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danial Ching didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 30 played minutes, Woodlesford United's Muhammad Au shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jithu Liang came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Woodlesford United reached it. Jithu Nair fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jithu Liang having to interfere. Jithu Liang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bakar Chan in the 33rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Jithu Nair's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jithu Liang was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bakar Chan in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jithu Liang saved Alresford AFC from getting behind. Khairil Devan's late challenge caught a Woodlesford United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Khairil Devan helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Alresford AFC's Khairil Devan got a free kick in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Azam Hui in the 43rd minute of play forced Woodlesford United's goalkeeper Ong Low to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Azam Hui was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Woodlesford United's zone, Danial Ching stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ong Low came out of the goal and Danial Ching tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Woodlesford United's goalkeeper Ong Low, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jithu Nair fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jithu Liang having to interfere. Farhan Seng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Alresford AFC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Khairil Devan hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, Victor Lee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ong Low took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Azam Hui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Woodlesford United's Jithu Nair in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alresford AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Jithu Liang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jithu Nair in the 97th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Woodlesford United left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Alresford AFC.
