Haziq Boon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steven Tioe in the 29th minute of play. Rudy Hian's late challenge caught a Mighty Wolves United FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rudy Hian helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Brighouse fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! 37 minutes into the match, Mighty Wolves United FC's Prime Devan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Faris Ning narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wei Xuan Low sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wei Xuan Low fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faris Ning having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wei Xuan Low to make the kick off. After 63 played minutes Brighouse got a freekick which was hit by Shafiq Tian. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wei Xuan Low in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Faris Ning prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Azli Cheng struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Faris Ning didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mighty Wolves United FC. In the 69thth minute of the game Wei Xuan Low who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brighouse's Faris Ning was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Brighouse's goalkeeper Faris Ning, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mighty Wolves United FC's Faris Hoe suffered a concussion in the 73rd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Mighty Wolves United FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Brighouse for a fine match.
