Spectators: 7410 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1360, VIP seats: 50) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Merlin Dyce got the match started through his kick off. 7 minutes into the match, Jerry Ning had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Prime Hee. Witney FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jerry Ning was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 10th minute, Jerry Ning fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Prime Hee was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Jerry Ning capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jerry Ning really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 25th minute Faiz Dyce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prime Hee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute of the match SouthSingapore got a corner. Witney FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Faiz Dyce ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jerry Ning was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Witney FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Jerry Ning scored to the left of an out of position Prime Hee, making the score, 4-0. Prime Hee was a little too slow when Jerry Ning got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 5-0. 47 minutes into the match, Witney FC's goalkeeper Prime Hee had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Danial Koh.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jerry Ning made a kick off. When Danial Koh came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the SouthSingapore fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danial Koh couldn't finish the play. Haziq Wah hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Witney FC's Prime Hee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faiz Dyce in the 61st minute of play. Wong Wah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Merlin Dyce in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Witney FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jerry Ning came free, but Prime Hee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jerry Ning scored 7-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Prime Hee, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Prime Hee stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jerry Ning's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Jerry Ning received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Prime Hee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of SouthSingapore booed when Witney FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Vijiaratnam didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th match minute, Witney FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Vijiaratnam to maneuver through the defense. Khai Cheng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prime Hee having to interfere. 83 minutes into the game, SouthSingapore's Jerry Ning nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Prime Hee made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. In the 85th match minute, SouthSingapore was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haziq Wah to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute, Witney FC's Adam Vijiaratnam dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 8-1. Jerry Ning received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Prime Hee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SouthSingapore's zone, Merlin Dyce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wong Wah came out of the goal and Merlin Dyce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
