Seating: 1844, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jerry Ning made the kick off which started today's match. 7 minutes into the match, SouthSingapore's goal looked a bit too open when Shukrie Lee came free, but Wong Wah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry Ning in the 9th minute of play forced Perivale City's goalkeeper Gara Pieng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wong Wah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shukrie Lee, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Gara Pieng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Ning in the 13th minute of play. Faiz Dyce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerry Ning received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Gara Pieng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jerry Ning took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gara Pieng. Gara Pieng dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jerry Ning's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gara Pieng read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Jerry Ning got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Perivale City's goal looked a bit too open when Faiz Dyce came free, but Gara Pieng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to SouthSingapore getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Khai Cheng hit a great ball. When SouthSingapore's Jerry Ning in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Perivale City's goalie prevented a goal. If Faiz Dyce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Perivale City's Gara Pieng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerry Ning in the 37th minute of play. Gara Pieng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Ning in the 40th minute of play. Gara Pieng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faiz Dyce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 44 minutes, Danial Koh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SouthSingapore's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danial Koh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th minute Shukrie Lee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wong Wah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Perivale City booed when SouthSingapore was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clive Wenyong didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Shukrie Lee stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind SouthSingapore's goalkeeper Wong Wah, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gara Pieng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerry Ning in the 57th minute of the match. If Jerry Ning had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Perivale City's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Danial Koh scored to the left of an out of position Gara Pieng, making the score, 0-2. The supporters of SouthSingapore booed when Perivale City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Sum didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gara Pieng was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jerry Ning showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 69 minute of play. In the 76th minute, Jerry Ning got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wong Wah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shukrie Lee in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Clive Wenyong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Jerry Ning took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Gara Pieng to make any attempt to save it. Jerry Ning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gara Pieng having to interfere. Danial Koh received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gara Pieng came out and tried to block the shot, but Danial Koh slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 87th minute. A collision led to Perivale City getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Afiz Abisheganaden hit a great ball. Jerry Ning struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Gara Pieng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SouthSingapore. When Faiz Dyce came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the SouthSingapore fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faiz Dyce couldn't finish the play. Perivale City's Gara Pieng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerry Ning in the 97th minute of play.
