Azam Tian made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Lamar Sum sent off a good shot on target. Asiz Ramachandran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Ron Choy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Tekong Blues Dragons getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Zafran Tian hit a great ball. Ron Choy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Asiz Ramachandran in the 20th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Khairil Chien-Kwan sped through Tekong Blues Dragons's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ron Choy. Ron Choy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khairil Chien-Kwan, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. If Khairil Chien-Kwan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ron Choy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khairil Chien-Kwan in the 95th minute of play. The Tekong Blues Dragons fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Peterlee were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
