Zafran Ching showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Asiz Ramachandran, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Asiz Ramachandran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Zafran Ching tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Khairil Lee made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 10thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Azam Tian would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. The supporters of Stannington AFC booed when Peterlee was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Chong didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asiz Ramachandran in the 20th minute of play forced Stannington AFC's goalkeeper Zafran Ching to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stannington AFC's Zafran Ching played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asiz Ramachandran in the 25th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hafriz Sarangapani in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zafran Ching prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Stannington AFC's Khairil Lee got a free kick in the 32nd minute. The supporters of Peterlee booed when Stannington AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicholas Tan didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Stannington AFC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Nicholas Tan hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asiz Ramachandran in the 38th minute of play forced Stannington AFC's goalkeeper Zafran Ching to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Azam Tian made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Nicholas Tan sent off a good shot on target. The Stannington AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Khairil Chien-Kwan was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Peterlee defense, Zak Hee kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Azam Tian. The Peterlee fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Azam Tian should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Asiz Ramachandran got free with Zafran Ching in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stannington AFC's Zafran Ching played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khairil Chien-Kwan in the 59th minute of play. Asiz Ramachandran kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Khairil Lee struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Azam Tian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stannington AFC. In the 62nd match minute, Peterlee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Chong to maneuver through the defense. Asiz Ramachandran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zafran Ching read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Zafran Ching showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hafriz Sarangapani in the 70th minute of the match. The supporters of Peterlee booed when Stannington AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zak Hee didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th match minute, Peterlee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asiz Ramachandran to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute, Rudy Hui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Khairil Chien-Kwan in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zafran Ching saved Stannington AFC from getting behind. Zafran Ching took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khairil Chien-Kwan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
