Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ryan Tan took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ipplepen United's goalkeeper Jithu Lee, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rudy Tuan kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Ryan Tan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Lamar Au tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniz Wah charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniz Wah the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniz Wah got free with Lamar Au in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lamar Au showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryan Tan, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute of the match Amirul Boon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lamar Au skillfully saved the ball. Ipplepen United's Daniz Wah got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 36 played minutes Gloucester FC got a freekick which was hit by Darryl Lee. 36 minutes into the match, Ipplepen United's Amirul Boon broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Daniz Wah might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lamar Au. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniz Wah ran back to his position shaking his head. Jithu Lee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Tan in the 41st minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When Daniz Wah came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Ipplepen United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniz Wah couldn't finish the play. Rudy Tuan hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Jithu Lee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afriz Yi-Sheng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Ryan Tan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lamar Au was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Jonathan Chian's late challenge caught a Gloucester FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Chian helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd minute, Jonathan Tan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Afriz Yi-Sheng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jithu Lee having to interfere. After 65 played minutes Ipplepen United got a freekick which was hit by Rudy Tuan. If Afriz Yi-Sheng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Tan didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-2 via right post in the game's 76th minute. Gloucester FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Jonathan Tan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the match, Afriz Yi-Sheng had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jithu Lee. Ipplepen United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Afriz Yi-Sheng was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonathan Tan got free with Jithu Lee in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lamar Au showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniz Wah in the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Gloucester FC's goalkeeper Lamar Au, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniz Wah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Lamar Au tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Ipplepen United supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gloucester FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Gloucester FC.
