Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ryan Tan kicked off to start the match. Hafriz Tan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryan Tan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute Lamar Politiek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jithu Lee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Ryan Tan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hafriz Tan, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryan Tan in the 17th minute of play forced Downton City's goalkeeper Hafriz Tan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Downton City getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Iskandar Paine hit a great ball. Hafriz Tan acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 24th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ronn Lam. Hafriz Tan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryan Tan in the 25th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Ali Soon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jithu Lee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ryan Tan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hafriz Tan having to interfere. Daniz Wah's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hafriz Tan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. After 35 played minutes Ipplepen United got a freekick which was hit by Rudy Tuan. 1-3 became the score in the 37th minute when Ali Soon elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jithu Lee came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Downton City's Ali Soon. But to his dismay, Ali Soon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. After the first half Downton City were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lamar Politiek to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Ali Soon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jithu Lee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Downton City's Ang Vijiaratnam got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rifki Seng hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Jithu Lee made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lamar Politiek in the 60th minute. If Ryan Tan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lamar Politiek's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Jithu Lee skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ali Soon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Jithu Lee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Ali Soon notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Ipplepen United's Jithu Lee. Jithu Lee was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 72 minutes into the match, Ipplepen United's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Soon came free, but Jithu Lee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Ipplepen United's goalkeeper Jithu Lee had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lamar Politiek. If Lamar Politiek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lamar Politiek's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jithu Lee firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Daniz Wah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Ryan Tan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ipplepen United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. Rifki Seng kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 97th minute of the match Ipplepen United got a corner. Downton City's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Amirul Boon ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ipplepen United's Amirul Boon was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hafriz Tan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
