Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Azam Chong took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 minutes, Ali Soon made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Fakenham's Nicholas Phua tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Downton City's Lamar Politiek in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fakenham's goalie prevented a goal. Lamar Politiek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iskandar Paine during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Downton City getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Iskandar Paine hit a great ball. In the 17th minute Azam Chong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hafriz Tan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lamar Politiek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicholas Phua having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lamar Politiek in the 20th minute of play forced Fakenham's goalkeeper Nicholas Phua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Fakenham's Azam Chong ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hafriz Tan. Hafriz Tan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Nicholas Phua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Soon in the 28th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Fakenham's Hafriz Tan threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Azam Chong, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Lamar Politiek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicholas Phua was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Nicholas Phua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Soon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Ali Soon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Downton City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 41st minute, Sharizan Chian reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hafriz Tan. The goal made the score 2-3. The supporters of Downton City booed when Fakenham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hidayat Siang didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Downton City were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Fakenham's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ang Vijiaratnam took the corner. The corner ended in Ang Vijiaratnam almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fakenham's Nicholas Phua did a great save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ali Soon during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ali Soon hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Ali Soon scored 2-5 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicholas Phua, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 66th play minute Lamar Politiek came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nicholas Phua. 2-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamir Teo in the 70th minute of play forced Downton City's goalkeeper Hafriz Tan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Azam Chong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lamar Politieks short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Nicholas Phua to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Downton City's Lamar Politiek slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nicholas Phua. That made the score 2-8 after 83 minutes of play. Nicholas Phua made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lamar Politiek in the 87th minute. Lamar Politiek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicholas Phua having to interfere. Nicholas Phua didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lamar Politiek went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-9 was the resulting score.
