When Daniel Namasivayam fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pondersbridge's protests and gave Daniel Namasivayam a yellow card for diving instead. Bakar Nagasaki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Namasivayam in the 13th minute of play. Zak Rajah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zak Rajah kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Jithu Braddell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Wokingham's Alex Lim tried to score from far away in the 26th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute of the match, Daniel Namasivayam tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bakar Nagasaki saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the Pondersbridge defense, John Hsin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rifqi Gopala Pillai. The Pondersbridge fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rifqi Gopala Pillai should have stopped the shot. If Zak Dhanabalan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Bakar Nagasaki successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 40 minutes of play, Wokingham's Zak Rajah made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rifqi Gopala Pillai was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Namasivayam to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Wokingham's goal looked a bit too open when Zak Dhanabalan came free, but Bakar Nagasaki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Pondersbridge booed when Wokingham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afiz Tuan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When John Hsin came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Wokingham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John Hsin couldn't finish the play. John Hsin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Rifqi Gopala Pillai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th match minute, Pondersbridge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Politiek to maneuver through the defense. Bakar Nagasaki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zak Dhanabalan in the 64th minute of play. Jithu Braddell hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Bakar Nagasaki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Namasivayam, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. The supporters of Pondersbridge booed when Wokingham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afiz Tuan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th match minute, Pondersbridge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zak Dhanabalan to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Pondersbridge's Mark Rajah got a free kick in the 78th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Pondersbridge's goalkeeper Rifqi Gopala Pillai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zak Rajah. In the 86th minute Daniel Namasivayam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bakar Nagasaki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 94 minutes, John Hsin made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Pondersbridge's Rifqi Gopala Pillai tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Wokingham players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
