Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bakar Choo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Walcote City's Gabriel Shyan got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 3rd minute, Bakar Choo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Azly Swee came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Singapore Wednesday's Hamir Pieng. But to his dismay, Hamir Pieng quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Darryl Kool had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bakar Choo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Darryl Kool managed to get in a good position for a shot. Walcote City's supporters rose to their feet, but Darryl Kool was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Tian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rdth minute of the game Hamir Pieng who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Walcote City's Azly Swee was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Walcote City getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Adam Henderson hit a great ball. In the 28th minute Bakar Choo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Azly Swee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hamir Pieng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Azly Swee having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Walcote City's Darryl Kool got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 39th minute, Hamir Pieng ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Darryl Kool was the one to do the kick off. Walcote City's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Hamir Pieng 59 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bakar Choo during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 65th minute, Bakar Choo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 minutes, Adam Henderson mouthed his way into the referee's book. Ali Tian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clive Chan in the 81st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Walcote City's zone, Bakar Choo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Azly Swee came out of the goal and Bakar Choo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Singapore Wednesday's Bakar Choo in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Azly Swee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamir Pieng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the game, Zak Koh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Walcote City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Singapore Wednesday the free kick. Singapore Wednesday played a much better game than Walcote City and deserved their victory. The Walcote City players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
