Mujahid Phua helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Goldboys FC booed when MirellasBar N.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mujahid Phua didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ron Wenyong in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fariz Gopala Pillai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Jonathan Swee came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the MirellasBar N.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Swee couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that Goldboys FC were the better team. Goldboys FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
