Firdauz Keng hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the game, Shenley United's Darryl Low nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabriel Teo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Lee Low showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zack Hong, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Lee Low made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zack Hong in the 42nd minute of play. If Zack Hong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iskandar Nair stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Muhammad Mathews got free with Lee Low in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Shenley United's Darryl Dhanabalan in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gabriel Teo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iskandar Nair in the 78th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Bendemeer Mariners FC's Muhammad Mathews nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bendemeer Mariners FC's Gabriel Teo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dale Lam in the 87th minute of play. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Iskandar Nair sped through Bendemeer Mariners FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gabriel Teo. Darryl Dhanabalan hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Shenley United had played much better football throughout.
