In the 7th minute, Mujahid Wenyong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Daniz Tee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mujahid Soon during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th minute, Mujahid Soon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Whitby's goal looked a bit too open when Anil Tan came free, but Rifki Chew reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Whitby's Mujahid Soon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danial Chian narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rifki Chew took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anil Tan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 minutes, Shukrie Cheng mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Whitby and the Tewkesbury players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Whitby's Shukrie Cheng got a free kick in the 25th minute. Ali Abdul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fariz Cho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Ali Abdul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danial Chian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mujahid Soon in the 35th minute of play. Fariz Cho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danial Chian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mujahid Soon in the 40th minute of the match. Fariz Cho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Danial Chian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 46 played minutes Whitby got a freekick which was hit by Khai Ching. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Anil Tan made the kick off in the second half. Daniz Tee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Rifki Chew tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rifki Chew showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anil Tan, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 57 minutes, Zak Chai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Whitby and the Tewkesbury players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Whitby's Zak Chai got a free kick in the 57th minute. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Mujahid Soon put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Danial Chian. Danial Chian came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Whitby's Mujahid Soon. But to his dismay, Mujahid Soon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Tewkesbury's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 76th minute, Tewkesbury's Anil Tan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Ali Abdul hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Tewkesbury's Clive Nair shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 82nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rifki Chew but with some difficulty. Khai Ching hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Rifki Chew came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Tewkesbury's Daniz Tee. But to his dismay, Daniz Tee quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Mujahid Soon took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Danial Chian. Danial Chian dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. After a rather tough play, Whitby's Ali Abdul got a free kick in the 94th minute. Rifki Chew showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anil Tan, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
