Khairul Hongyi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Darfield United booed when Cars Are Expensive was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Phua didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zak Swee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Famih Butcher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Bryan Hsin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alam Yip in the 16th minute of play forced Cars Are Expensive's goalkeeper Zak Swee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alam Yip's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zak Swee read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Cars Are Expensive got a freekick which was hit by Didi Hsi. After a defensive mix-up in Darfield United's zone, Bryan Hsin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alif Ching came out of the goal and Bryan Hsin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicholas Seng got free with Alif Ching in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Cars Are Expensive getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Famih Mathews hit a great ball. When Alan Nagasaki fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Darfield United's protests and gave Alan Nagasaki a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cars Are Expensive booed when Darfield United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Nagasaki didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute, Bryan Kool reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alif Ching. The goal made the score 1-0. Nicholas Seng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bryan Hsin came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alif Ching could save by the left post. Darfield United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Bryan Kool scored to the left of an out of position Alif Ching, making the score, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Famih Butcher was the one to do the kick off. Zak Swee didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 79th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. After some careless play in the Darfield United defense, Bryan Kool kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alif Ching. The Darfield United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alif Ching should have stopped the shot. 91 minutes into the match, Darfield United's goal looked a bit too open when Bryan Kool came free, but Alif Ching reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alif Ching showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicholas Seng in the 92nd minute of the match. Cars Are Expensive walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
