Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Millbrook AFC's John Koh started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Asiz Wenyong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rifqi Hongyi, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After a rather tough play, Millbrook AFC's Alif Namasivayam got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 7th minute Khairul Lee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Asiz Wenyong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 11 minutes, Khairul Lee managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Derby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Khairul Lee was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Millbrook AFC defense, Rifqi Hongyi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Asiz Wenyong. The Millbrook AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Asiz Wenyong should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dale Nagasaki during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 19 played minutes Derby got a freekick which was hit by Dale Nagasaki. 21 minutes into the game, John Koh recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alam Phua. John Koh showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After having played for 27 minutes, Rifqi Hongyi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Derby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rifqi Hongyi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alam Phua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Koh in the 30th minute of the match. Khairul Lee scored 1-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Asiz Wenyong, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zack Chew kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Rifqi Hongyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asiz Wenyong having to interfere.

The wind increased when Khairul Lee made the kick off in the second half. Alam Phua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khai Abdul in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danial Laycock in the 56th minute of play forced Derby's goalkeeper Alam Phua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alam Phua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danial Laycock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Khai Abdul during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Khai Abdul kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Khairul Lee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Asiz Wenyong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khairul Lee in the 67th minute of play forced Millbrook AFC's goalkeeper Asiz Wenyong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alif Namasivayam hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. John Koh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Alam Phua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 minutes, Wong Tian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Derby and the Millbrook AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of Derby:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Millbrook AFC:s goal. Amirul Seng placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! If Danial Laycock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alam Phua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danial Laycock in the 83rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Millbrook AFC's zone, Rifqi Hongyi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Asiz Wenyong came out of the goal and Rifqi Hongyi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute Khairul Lee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Asiz Wenyong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, John Koh put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Alam Phua. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, John Koh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Millbrook AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but John Koh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alam Phua breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
