The audience thought a goal was coming when Amirul Seng got free with Daniz Yang in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniz Yang came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Millbrook AFC's Alif Namasivayam. But to his dismay, Alif Namasivayam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tampines Rovers FC's goalkeeper Daniz Yang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniz Yang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khai Abdul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Millbrook AFC booed when Tampines Rovers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Restu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Danial Laycock managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Millbrook AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danial Laycock was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Tampines Rovers FC's goal looked a bit too open when John Koh came free, but Daniz Yang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Khai Abdul fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Millbrook AFC's protests and gave Khai Abdul a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Tampines Rovers FC booed when Millbrook AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Khai Abdul didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Khai Abdul ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniz Yang was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Koh in the 32nd minute of play forced Tampines Rovers FC's goalkeeper Daniz Yang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniz Yang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danial Laycock in the 33rd minute. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, John Koh took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Daniz Yang to make any attempt to save it. Danial Laycock who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Daniz Yang when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Danial Laycock could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Daniz Yang made a huge save. Daniz Yang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khai Abdul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Danial Laycock could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Daniz Yang made a huge save. John Koh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniz Yang having to interfere. In the 48th minute, John Koh fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Daniz Yang, passed just outside the right post.

The wind increased when Hafriz Tioe made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Millbrook AFC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. But to his dismay, Danial Laycock quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Danial Laycock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Asiz Liang scored 7-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniz Yang, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
