Spectators: 6845 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1845, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ryan Dhanabalan got the match started through his kick off. Arsenal FC's Steven Chan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khairul Lee in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute Rifqi Hongyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steven Chan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rifqi Hongyi in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Steven Chan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ryan Dhanabalan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Alam Phua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Khairul Lee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Derby's Rifqi Hongyi in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arsenal FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 19th minute, Khairul Lee left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Derby fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Rifqi Hongyi took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Steven Chan. Steven Chan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 26thth minute of the game Khairul Lee who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arsenal FC's Steven Chan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Arsenal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Khairul Lee came free, but Steven Chan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gara Chong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Khairul Lee's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Steven Chan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Arsenal FC's Rifqi Politiek got a free kick in the 38th minute. Steven Chan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khairul Lee in the 39th minute of play. After having played for 41 minutes, Khairul Lee managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Derby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Khairul Lee was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Khairul Lee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Rifqi Hongyi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Steven Chan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rifqi Hongyi came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Derby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rifqi Hongyi couldn't finish the play. Arsenal FC's Steven Chan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Arsenal FC from getting a goal against them. Gara Chong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Alam Phua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Rifqi Hongyi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Khairul Lee in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Steven Chan saved Arsenal FC from getting behind. After 70 minutes, Khairul Lee made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Arsenal FC's Steven Chan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 73 played minutes Derby got a freekick which was hit by Dale Nagasaki. 78 minutes into the match, Arsenal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Khairul Lee came free, but Steven Chan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Khairul Lee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steven Chan having to interfere. 88 minutes in the game, Khairul Lee dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Gara Chong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alam Phua having to interfere. Alam Phua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryan Dhanabalan, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Derby played a much better game than Arsenal FC and deserved their victory. The Arsenal FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
