Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hafriz Tioe started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With his leg Daniz Yang managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when Ashburton AFC's Sajeev Chee fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 3rd minute, Jerry Seng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniz Yang was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Amirul Namasivayam showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Bakar Phua kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Azam Pillai reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Daniz Yang. The goal made the score 2-0. 12 minutes into the match, Tampines Rovers FC's goalkeeper Daniz Yang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sajeev Chee. Azam Pillai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Daniz Yang made a huge save. Daniz Yang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bakar Phua, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Sajeev Chee got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amirul Namasivayam in the 23rd minute of play forced Tampines Rovers FC's goalkeeper Daniz Yang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Azam Pillai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Daniz Yang made a huge save. Sajeev Chee took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniz Yang. Daniz Yang dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Daniz Yang came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Ashburton AFC's Azam Pillai. But to his dismay, Azam Pillai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Daniz Yang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bakar Phua in the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Ashburton AFC's Sean Chan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Daniz Yang. Daniz Yang yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. Sajeev Chee had several of the Tampines Rovers FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 39 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 6-0 score and a disappointed Daniz Yang as he didn't even see the shot coming. 43 minutes into the match, Tampines Rovers FC's goalkeeper Daniz Yang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sean Chan. Daniz Yang was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Samuel Shyan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Samuel Shyan really showed his touch with that goal: 7-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Amirul Namasivayam made the kick off in the second half. Daniz Yang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bakar Phua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Amirul Namasivayam sped through Tampines Rovers FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Daniz Yang. Daniz Yang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bakar Phua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniz Yang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amirul Namasivayam in the 63rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Azam Pillai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ashburton AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Azam Pillai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniz Yang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniz Yang didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Azam Pillai went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 13-0 was the resulting score. Daniz Yang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bakar Phua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, Samuel Shyan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniz Yang. Tampines Rovers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuel Shyan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 14-0. In the 96th minute Bakar Phua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniz Yang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ashburton AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
