The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Sean Seng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. Sean Seng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zack Tan having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Azli Devan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zack Tan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lamar Siang, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After a rather tough play, Nailsworth AFC's Gerard Chian got a free kick in the 11th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Fariz Abdul managed to get in a good position for a shot. Keswick FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fariz Abdul was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zack Tan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Faiz Keng during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Gerard Chian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Keswick FC's Sean Seng got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 29 minutes into the game, Steven Soon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Keswick FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nailsworth AFC the free kick. A collision led to Keswick FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Steven Soon hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Jerry Braddell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nailsworth AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jerry Braddell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Azam Tee breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice moves Jerry Braddell could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Azam Tee however easily saved by the left post. Haziq Keng might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Azam Tee. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Haziq Keng ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Keswick FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Fariz Abdul hit a great ball. Lamar Siang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerard Chian hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Nailsworth AFC's Zack Tan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sean Seng in the 45th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Sean Seng made the kick off in the second half. Jerry Braddell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sean Seng in the 61st minute of play forced Nailsworth AFC's goalkeeper Zack Tan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerry Braddell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Azam Tee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zack Tan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sean Seng in the 72nd minute of play. Jerry Braddell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Azam Tee having to interfere. In the 83rd match minute, Nailsworth AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerard Chian to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Jerry Braddell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Faiz Keng hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. If Lamar Siang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
