Seating: 1881, VIP seats: 100) Holland-on-Sea's Samuel Ching started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute of the match, Wong Amin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Khai Kool saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Amir Politiek got a throw-in 10 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Zak Henderson. Ronn Tee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zak Henderson in the 14th minute of play. After 14 played minutes Holland-on-Sea got a freekick which was hit by John Shiong. After 15 played minutes Holland-on-Sea got a freekick which was hit by Wong Amin. Wong Amin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Khai Kool tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute Wong Amin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khai Kool saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 played minutes Quinton got a freekick which was hit by Zak Henderson. After a rather tough play, Holland-on-Sea's John Shiong got a free kick in the 25th minute. Quinton's Khai Kool proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Quinton from getting a goal against them. Khai Kool made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Samuel Ching sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Holland-on-Sea's Samuel Ching slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Khai Kool. That made the score 1-0 after 36 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Holland-on-Sea's zone, Fariz Lim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronn Tee came out of the goal and Fariz Lim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Quinton's Fariz Lim got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zak Henderson made a kick off. Fariz Wenyong kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Zak Henderson struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Ronn Tee didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quinton. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Ching in the 57th minute of play forced Quinton's goalkeeper Khai Kool to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute Zak Henderson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronn Tee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Wong Amin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Holland-on-Sea's supporters rose to their feet, but Wong Amin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Khai Kool breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Khai Kool showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Ching, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After a rather tough play, Quinton's Zak Henderson got a free kick in the 69th minute. Holland-on-Sea made a substitution. Amirul Chuan replaced Wei Xuan Sum. After 73 played minutes Quinton got a freekick which was hit by Anil Hee. Khai Kool showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Ching, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wong Amin in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Khai Kool prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 82nd minute Holland-on-Sea were awarded a corner. Fariz Wenyong went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Holland-on-Sea's Fariz Wenyong to fire away a dangerous shot which Khai Kool despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Fariz Lim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Ronn Tee made a huge save. When Samuel Ching came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Holland-on-Sea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Ching couldn't finish the play. 89 minutes into the match, Quinton's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Ching came free, but Khai Kool reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Holland-on-Sea fully deserved thier win.
