Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Shahiran Cho took the kick off in the first half of the match. Zak Henderson did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Lee Hoe 5 minutes into the match. When Quinton's Zak Henderson in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grove's goalie prevented a goal. Grove's Merlin Seng got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fariz Lim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Lee Hoe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the game, Shahiran Cho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Khai Kool was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 22 minutes, Shahiran Cho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grove and the Quinton players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Grove's Shahiran Cho got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Amirul Hong kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Zak Henderson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lee Hoe having to interfere. Fariz Lim hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Zak Henderson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Lee Hoe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 44 minutes, Gabriel Chong managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quinton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Chong was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zak Henderson was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Khai Politiek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grove's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quinton the free kick. Khai Politiek kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Quinton's Khai Kool proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Quinton from getting a goal against them. In the 57th minute, Anil Hee made a precise shot to the right of Lee Hoe. Grove's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Merlin Seng could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Khai Kool made a huge save. Zak Henderson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lee Hoe having to interfere. Lee Hoe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zak Henderson in the 67th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the game, Zak Henderson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Lee Hoe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Merlin Seng got free with Khai Kool in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 76 minutes into the game, Rifki Yip recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Khai Kool. Rifki Yip showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-2. In the 79th minute Shahiran Cho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khai Kool saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th match minute, Quinton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Chong to maneuver through the defense. Zak Henderson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Lee Hoe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 minutes of play, Grove's Rifki Yip made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Khai Kool was left in no man's land by his defense there! Khai Kool showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shahiran Cho in the 91st minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Quinton had played much better football throughout.
