Spectators: 6840 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Alam Ramachandran in the 3rd minute of play forced Eltham AFC's goalkeeper Dylon Pickering to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dylon Pickering made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alam Ramachandran in the 4th minute of play. Alam Ramachandran took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dylon Pickering. Dylon Pickering dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 14th minute Andre Dimmock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Seah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Alam Ramachandran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dylon Pickering was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Eltham AFC's Giles Brighton got a free kick in the 18th minute. Robin Bensley kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th match minute, Eltham AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Lightfoot to maneuver through the defense. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the match, Eltham AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alam Ramachandran came free, but Dylon Pickering reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute Ang Paine suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 38 minutes, Robin Bensley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eltham AFC and the Padstow United players grew even worse after the yellow card. The wind increased when Alam Ramachandran made the kick off in the second half. Alam Ramachandrans short, quick shot in the 51stth minute got Dylon Pickering to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eltham AFC's goalkeeper Dylon Pickering, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Padstow United's Alam Ramachandran got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gage Siang struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Dylon Pickering didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Padstow United. Alam Ramachandran's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Dylon Pickering skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Eltham AFC's zone, Gage Siang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dylon Pickering came out of the goal and Gage Siang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Alam Ramachandran came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Padstow United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alam Ramachandran couldn't finish the play. Gage Siang in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dylon Pickering, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gabriel Seah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andre Dimmock in the 85th minute of play. Ali Cho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dylon Pickering made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Alam Ramachandran sent off a good shot on target. Padstow United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
