Seating: 1330, VIP seats: 162) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ron Soon made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Fordham's goal looked a bit too open when Wei Xuan Leng came free, but Marco Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rudy Hee came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Fordham's Ron Soon. But to his dismay, Ron Soon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Fordham's Alois Hořava slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rudy Hee. That made the score 2-0 after 9 minutes of play. Fordham's Marco Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alif Politiek in the 14th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, Fordham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ron Soon to maneuver through the defense. Alois Hořava fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudy Hee having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Mohammad Hsi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Marco Saldanha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Kings Cross's Fariz Hee got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute Mohammad Hsi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 minutes of play, Kings Cross's Alif Politiek made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Saldanha was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 33rd minute Mohammad Hsi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ron Soon was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 34 minutes had been played. Ron Soon kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Rifqi Wah cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Rudy Hee was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Kings Cross's zone, Alois Hořava stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rudy Hee came out of the goal and Alois Hořava tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rifki Low got free with Rudy Hee in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.
The wind increased when Mohammad Hsi made the kick off in the second half. Marco Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohammad Hsi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohammad Hsi, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Marco Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fariz Hee in the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohammad Hsi in the 57th minute of play forced Fordham's goalkeeper Marco Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Fordham's Marco Saldanha got control of the ball when Alif Politiek tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute Rifki Low shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudy Hee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute Fariz Hee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fordham's Marco Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fariz Hee in the 72nd minute of play. Kings Cross's Rudy Hee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rifki Low in the 82nd minute of play. Rifki Low hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Faiz Ee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marco Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohammad Hsi in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohammad Hsi in the 93rd minute of play forced Fordham's goalkeeper Marco Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Saldanha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alif Politiek in the 94th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Kings Cross walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
